Former Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher was booed widely in Scarborough on July 6 after he responded to the crowd chanting "football's coming home".

Footage shows the star standing on stage at his concert with his band the High Flying birds on Friday night.

The crowd chants the now famous lyrics from "Three Lions", but Gallagher responds in a foul-mouthed fashion.

"Seriously, though, it so f****** isn't," he says, to a chorus of boos.

"It f****** is not," he adds.

One fan can be seen launching his drink towards the stage.

The filmer later wrote online: "I love [Noel Gallagher] but he so wrong it's beyond belief!"
