A pair of foxes appeared to have their rear ends locked while mating, as seen in footage taken by Danielle Wilding and her partner driving near Waterfall Park in Eltham, Victoria, on June 23.
Wilding told Storyful that she initially thought the animals were injured, then realised they were “doing the dirty”.
The foxes were in a “copulatory tie”, an uncomfortable result of canine reproduction that sometimes could have both parties locked for more than an hour, according to the BBC. Credit: Danielle Wilding via Storyful
