Residents Forced to Evacuate Homes After Grass Fire Sparks in Evanston, Wyoming

Residents living in parts of Evanston, Wyoming, were forced to evacuate their homes after a large grass fire broke out on Wednesday, July 4.

People living in Sue Drive, Del Rio Street and Troy Court were told to leave their homes as the fire raged in south central Evanston, Fox 13 News reported.

The fire also forced the cancellation of the town’s annual Independence Day fireworks display.
