Bradley Skeete can see him and Sam Eggington meeting in the ring again down the line - and reckons it could be in a world title situation.
Skeete took the British welterweight title from Eggington on points and next defends against mandatory challenger Shayne Singleton on June 3.
Eggington has roared to victories over Frankie Gavin and Paullie Malignaggi since and will challenge for the European belt on May 13.
Skeete isn’t interested in a rematch with Gavin - the only man to beat him in the pro ranks - but would welcome an Eggington return.
‘Super Skeete’ was at the Leicester Arena show, live on BoxNation and BT Sport, and laid it out to Seconds Out reporter Craig Birch.
