View 1 more image (Newser) – Before murdering five people in a Maryland newsroom, Jarrod Ramos signed and mailed a document describing his goal of "killing every person present," police say. Signed by Ramos, the document is styled as a "Motion for Reconsideration" by Maryland's top court, which in 2016 refused to hear a defamation case Ramos filed against the Capital, police say. An attached letter is addressed to retired Judge Charles Moylan Jr., who described Ramos' "fundamental failure to understand what defamation law is" when siding against him. "Welcome, Mr. Moylan, to your unexpected legacy: YOU should have died," the letter reads, per the Sun.
