A motorist was filmed running over a puppy at a supermarket parking lot in Hillside, New Jersey, on Thursday, June 28.
Security camera outside the ShopRite store along US Route 22 captured the horrific incident.
In the footage, an SUV can be seen driving into the parking lot. The driver exits the vehicle, takes the puppy out from the passenger side and places it on the tarmac. The same person then gets back into the SUV, before reversing, then driving forward and running over the animal with its front wheel. The puppy later died from its injuries, Patch.com reported.
