Deadly Blast Targeting Sikh Minority Rocks Jalalabad

According to a report by Reuters, an explosion rocked the center of the eastern Afghan city of Jalalabad on Sunday, killing at least 19 people, including members of the Sikh minority. The blast reportedly occurred just hours after President Ashraf Ghani opened a hospital in the city. Governor's spokesman Attaullah Khogyani claimed the blast also damaged shops and buildings around Mukhaberat square near the city's center.
