Maryland resident Marjorie Rock captured video of police leading a gunman from an Annapolis building in the aftermath of the June 28 Capital Gazette newsroom shooting that left five people dead and others injured.

Rock said she was at a dentist appointment in the same building when the shots rang from one floor below at the Capital Gazette newspaper office. She told ABC News she was about to exit the clinic when an employee told her to stay inside.

This video shows the moment police escorted the handcuffed gunman from the building.

The shooter was later identified as Jarrod W. Ramos, who was charged with five counts of murder, according to reports. It’s alleged Ramos had targeted the establishment with lawsuits previously, for what he perceived as defamatory stories. Credit: Marjorie Rock via Storyful
