Rescue workers in Thailand installed piping on June 27 to pump water from a flooded cave where a search and rescue operation was underway to reach 12 teenage footballers and their coach who went missing four days previously.
Footage live-streamed to Facebook showed fast flowing water streaming from the pipes. Rescue workers gathered around, ambulances and media personnel can also be seen.
According to the Bangkok Post, water levels inside the cave had risen steadily due to rainfall.
Divers, a remotely operated underwater vehicle and heat-detecting drones had been deployed to search for the missing people, according to reports. Credit: PR.Chiangrai via Storyful
