Clarence has been bitter over being threatened at gunpoint, and seeks revenge on Niko. Niko is forced to kill Clarence for good. The player can even make Niko drive away from Clarence, who will jack a car of his own and chase Niko. It is also possible to just let the police kill him, as he will only have a pistol.
