Heavy rains caused flash floods on Sunday in a mountainous region of northwestern Vietnam.
A dramatic video showed floodwaters surging down a river in Lao Cai province.
According to the filmer, the extent of the damage from the flooding is not yet known although towns and villages have been cut off.
