First raising eyebrows in 2005 as a mysterious newcomer on the scene, Art of Tones had everyone second guessing as to who was the man behind this moniker. Having released two EPs on 20:20 Vision that year, followed by his critically acclaimed 'Praise' release two years later, it soon became public that this rising player was French producer Ludovic Llorca. Now, having worked closely with the Hamburg imprint Room With A View and continuing to make further hit releases such as 'The World As I Live It', the Frenchman makes his arrival on DFTD. 'My Love' is another irrefutable demonstration of his production prowess as the Miami Stripped Mix displays Llorca's ability to utilise Tanya Michelle's powerful and soulful vocals whilst also adding a flanger to create an atmospheric effect. On the other hand even with Michelle's vocals absent in the Miami Dub one can nonetheless admire the Frenchman's knack for delivering a dynamic and energetic track driven by bass-led shoulder popping grooves.
