Severe flash floods hit Pittsburgh and Allegheny County on the night of June 20, prompting a state of emergency to be declared in Bethel Park.
“The South Hills in general has been hit very hard, but absolutely Bethel Park seems to be where the most damage is,” a spokeswoman for Allegheny County told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
No injuries were reported at the time of publication.
The National Weather Service had earlier issued a flash flood warning for Central Washington and Southern Allegheny counties.
