The Mausoleum of Hadrian, usually known as Castel Sant'Angelo, is a cylindrical building in Parco Adriano, Rome, Italy. It was initially commissioned by the Roman Emperor Hadrian as a mausoleum for himself and his family. It is built besides a river and a bridge spans across the river to the other side of the city. The bridge is a magnificent sight by itself with statues lining along its sides. Strongly recommended to visit when in Rome.
