Murder of a Transperson in Argentina Ruled a Hate Crime

For the first time, the murder of a trans person in Argentina has been ruled a hate crime, a milestone verdict in the country. The killer was sentenced to life in prison for murdering trans activist Diana Sacayan in 2015.
