U.S., Canada and Mexio to co-host 2026 World Cup

The United States, Canada and Mexico will host a joint World Cup in 2026.
The three North American countries beat their bidding rival Morocco by 134 votes to 65 on Wednesday at the 68th FIFA Congress.
The 2026 tournament will be the first time the World Cup is hosted by three countries and also the first time it will have a 48-team format, up from the current 32-team format.
The U.S. will host 60 games, including the final, while Canada and Mexico will each have 10 games.
