Firefighters battled a brush fire in the Benedict Canyon neighborhood above Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, on Tuesday, June 12.
These videos captured by a Bel Air resident, Adam Latham, show county officials’ planes and helicopters assisting in the attempts to tackle the Portola fire.
Residents in various neighborhoods near the fire were ordered to evacuate but evacuation orders were lifted by 8pm, ABC7 Eyewitness News reported. The fire was first reported at 2 pm in the 9,800 block of West Portola Drive and quickly burned through 35 to 40 acres, the report said. Credit: Adam Latham via Storyful
