Major flooding hit downtown Lausanne in Switzerland on Monday, June 11, after a severe storm lashed the city and surrounding areas.
Police received hundreds of calls relating to the floods, including reports of downed trees and rubble on the roads, Swiss television channel RTS Info reported. The floods caused road and rail disruption but no injuries were reported.
