Beleaguered politician Barnaby Joyce has been accused of attempting to punch a photographer who was loitering outside a church service on the morning of June 10 in Joyce’s hometown of Armidale.
Joyce filmed the ensuing verbal altercation, in which the photographer refuses to share his name or the name of his employer.
Joyce said he had been waiting “in the bushes taking photos” as Joyce exited the Church of England cathedral in Armidale. Parishioners came to Joyce’s defence.
