Occam's razor (also Ockham's razor, Ocham's razor) [Lex parsimoniae "law of parsimony") is a problem-solving principle that, when presented with competing hypothetical answers to a problem, one should select the answer that makes the fewest assumptions. This is great as an initial tool but bears and begs further review. As McLuhan spake: "The percept takes priority of the concept."
Pay attention here. It gets juicy.
