Ahead of the first round of the State of Origin on June 6, the dingo pups at an Australian zoo dissented from sport commentators by seemingly tipping Queensland to emerge victorious on Wednesday night’s game.
Australian animals are often deployed to settle disputes between pundits, such as Burt the psychic crocodile who correctly picked Queensland to beat New South South Wales last year.
Despite living in New South Wales, the pups are seen clumsily knocking down the blue banner several times before standing in the bowl and eating from the Queensland bowl, making their contempt for the Blues quite clear. Their prediction diverges from NRL experts and sportsbet odds who overwhelmingly tip New South Wales to take home the first game at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Wednesday night.
