President Trump on Tuesday took another aim at Hillary Clinton and James Comey.
President Trump wants to know why a report on Hillary Clinton and former FBI director James Comey is taking "so long."
"What is taking so long with the Inspector General's Report on Crooked Hillary and Slippery James Comey. Numerous delays. Hope Report is not being changed and made weaker! There are so many horrible things to tell, the public has the right to know. Transparency!" Trump tweeted Tuesday.
The Washington Post notes, "In coming weeks, the department's inspector general, Michael E. Horowitz, is expected to release a nearly 500-page report criticizing the Justice Department and FBI for their handling of the probe into Clinton's use of a private email server while secretary of state, according to people familiar with the matter."
Clinton and Hillary have been among Trump's favorite targets on Twitter.
"Unbelievably, James Comey states that Polls, where Crooked Hillary was leading, were a factor in the handling (stupidly) of the Clinton Email probe. In other words, he was making decisions based on the fact that he thought she was going to win, and he wanted a job. Slimeball!" Trump tweeted in April.
And in a more recent tweet, the president wrote, "Sorry, I've got to start focusing my energy on North Korea Nuclear, bad Trade Deals, VA Choice, the Economy, rebuilding the Military, and so much more, and not on the Rigged Russia Witch Hunt that should be investigating Clinton/Russia/FBI/Justice/Obama/Comey/Lynch etc."
