Tips on how to make your guinea pigs feel comfortable during floor time and make them come out of their cage! \r
\r
Its easiest if your guinea pigs can choose whether they wanna come outside or not. This, however, requires either an enclosure on the ground or some kind of ramp which connects the cage to the floor. If thats the case, your guinea pigs are only gonna come out if theyre really in the mood for floor time. \r
If you have a cage that cannot be connected to the floor, wait for a time when your guinea pigs seem ive.\r
If your guinea pigs are unsure of the space outside their cage and do not wanna come out on their own, provide some shelter\r
Some guinea pigs are really picky when it comes to the ground they walk on. Hard wood floors are often not that popular amongst guinea pigs\r
You can also make some kind of scavenger hunt for the guinea pigs \r
And also a general tip when it comes to guinea pig mess: there really isnt one! Guinea pigs are seldom litter trained. \r
