Flames Swirl on Hillside as Aliso Fire Burns Near Laguna Beach

Fire crews battling a vegetation fire in Aliso Viejo, near Laguna Beach, California, on Saturday, June 2, received support from airplanes and helicopters that dropped retardant and water on the blaze.

This footage from Saturday shows flames on a hillside and a plane dropping red retardant on the fire. That day, about 2,000 homes were placed under evacuation orders, and the fire had grown to around 250 acres, according to officials.
