These stunning pictures show how Britain's plunging temperatures caused the SEA - to FREEZE.
Photos taken by Ian Heard shows the shoreline waters at Weston-super-Mare in Somerset freezing over as the Beast from the East moved in.
Ian, 48, said: "I was out walking along the seafront with my partner Calin and we could see a long white line at the high water line.
