Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill has revealed that he has agreed a new two-year deal with the Football Association of Ireland.
Stories earlier this week suggested that O'Neill and assistant Roy Keane were staying on but there was no confirmation from O'Neill himself.
And on Thursday O'Neill explained the decision.
Ireland have been continuing their preparations for their opening match against Sweden on Monday - their only injury worry is over Stoke City striker Jonathan Walters who has a calf strain.
Walters trained by himself on Thursday and O'Neill said he would be guided by his medical team over the chances of the striker playing against the Swedes.
So a boost for Ireland before the tournament even kicks off- their management team are staying put.
