A jeering crowd gathered as a homeless man threatened to leap from a bridge - and gave him a COUNTDOWN for his jump.
Romanian-born Nicolae Iordache stripped to his boxers and climbed over the railings of the city centre crossing in protest at his housing situation.
But instead of sympathy, a callous crowd of more than 200 goaded him to leap and began booing when he failed to do so.
