This shocking video shows a hammer attack outside a fish and chip shop that was "like a scene from out of the Wild West". Video footage shot from inside the takeaway shows the fight kicking off with a man appearing to throw an object at a car across the road. The car's occupants then chase him to the takeaway, where he runs to take shelter. One of the gang is seen to attack the door and shop window with a hammer before moving on to smash a BMW car's side windows and rear windscreen. This prompts the man to run out of the takeaway in an attempt to protect what is presumably his expensive car as another man holds him back.
