Meet Britain's most dedicated puppy trainers - an elderly couple who have raised a staggering 48 guide dogs over 36 YEARS. Retired hairdresser Norma Stent, 72, and husband Derek, a former optician, 82, adopted their first pup, Paddy, in 1980 and fell in love. Since that day, they have welcomed Labradors, Retrievers, German Shepherds, Labradoodles and Collies into their home in Bath, Somerset. They train each puppy from the age of seven weeks, teaching it how to walk on a lead, go to the toilet and how to follow basic commands.
