John Lawson and his colleagues enjoy Scotland's other national drink on a daily basis and decided to use a bottle as the centrepiece of their quirky computer system. The 750ml glass bottle is connected to flowing tubes filled with a special orange liquid which is used to cool the machine and its circuits.
And they have now put the wacky construction, dubbed the Aye-Mac, on public display at their computer repairs shop in Edinburgh.
John, who owns PC Doctor, said the project had taken him a year to complete after he had to track necessary parts from as far as Ukraine. He said: "I'm interested in designing different coolant systems and being innovative in different ways.
