The 32-tonne Scania tipper truck was carrying aggregate when it lost control and ploughed into two pedestrians and several vehicles.
It overturned on a Volvo at the bottom of the hill on Lansdown Lane, Bath, Somerset, shortly after 4pm.
The four-year-old girl from Bath, who was hand in hand with her grandmother, was tragically killed as the pair stepped onto a zebra crossing.
