A lardy couple who weighed a combined 32 stone were shamed into losing weight after being teased about their size by their own family - during Christmas dinner. Margaret Gibson, 37, and her husband, James, 41, started piling on the pounds after the birth of their two children just over a decade ago. It meant by last winter Margaret was tipping
the scales at 12st 5lbs (78.4kg), while James weighed a whopping 20st (127kg). But the mother-of-two received a stark wake-up call when her dad made a hurtful comment about their weight while the family were enjoying their festive feast last year.
