It looks like a scene from classic cartoon Wacky Races - but this man is going solo as he makes his way through the country in Britain's most barmy car. With a motley collection of a hoover, skateboard and giant Darth Vader all stuck to the crazy looking Volkswagon - the car will travel from Leeds, West Yorks., to Lands End to raise cash for charity.Although Dick Dastardly was not around to spoil the fun, the police were on the case to make sure the force was being used for good. Taking to twitter, West Yorkshire Police RPU (@WYP_RPU), posted: "We used the force and the Dark Side has been stopped! "This vehicle was stopped near Leeds today with Darth Vader on the roof in a gun turret! "We knew times were hard for everyone but the new Death Star isn't up to much! "The gentleman driver is touring the country for candlelighters charity. He has a real skeleton in the front passenger seat too! "Yes it was on the road travelling around for a great charity. We didn't give any tickets or tow it, we had a good laugh though :-)" The bizarre scenes were a result of Darren Bond's crazy car drive to raise money for children's cancer charity Candelighters. Writing on his justgiving page, Darren said: "The car gets lots of attention when I'm out and draws crowds in no matter were I go.
