7. Kenneth Burnham\r
As far as dumb plans to escape from prison go, this one definitely had to be included on our list. Mr. Kenneth Burnham here, being the genius that he is, decided that he was going to impersonate another inmate that was scheduled to be released. Everything was surprisingly going according to plan for Burnham until a guard pointed out the fatal flaw in his plan. The guard noticed that the inmate that was supposed to be released was a black male and clearly Burnham is as white as ghost. He was given two criminal charges for his failed attempt.\r

6. Rafael Valadao\r
Firefighters had to be called to a Brazilian prison when the guards discovered an inmate who had gotten stuck while trying to escape. Guards made the hilarious find when they followed the sounds of a man screaming and crying for help. The man was later identified as Rafael Valadao who had apparently gotten stuck while tunneling to freedom. A total of four inmates were planning to escape through a hole they made in the prison shower. One prisoner did manage to escape but Valadao trapped the other two from escaping with his 214-pound body. \r

In new, a 19-year-old girl named Maria del Mar Arjona went to the Chetumal prison in Mexico to visit her boyfriend but is recognized as her common-law husband. The suitcase that she had entered with seemed to be a lot heavier and the guards noticed that Arjona was ing visibly nervous. The unzipped the suitcase and inside they found Juan Ramirez Tijerina all condensed. Ramirez was serving a 20-year-sentence for possession of illegal weapons and his girlfriend was arrested and given the appropriate charge. \r

What is it with women trying to sneak their convicted lovers out of prison inside of a suitcase? What, did you not realize that the guards were obviously going to check your luggage? Antonieta Robles Saouda here went to visit her boyfriend in prison while he was serving time in a Venezuelan jail for stealing a car. She brought a suitcase along and while walking out the guards saw that she was struggling. Inside was Garcia all folded up like a human pretzel. She also brought her 6-year-old daughter who is now been placed in social services. \r

Yes, you heard that right, folks. Snoopy. The beloved peanuts charer, Charlie Browns dog. A man dressed up like Snoopy and literally tried to break his friend out of jail with another accomplice. No word on if the other man was dressed as Woodstock. The men went down to the Isle of Wight, an island located in the English Channel, and went to the prison trying to bust down the staff door. The hilariously weird part is that the two guys had absolutely no clue which prison their friend was ually held in because they ended up going to an entirely different one. \r

For one man, prison seemed to be too much of a drag so he decided thats exly how he would carry out his masterful escape.by dressing as a woman. Ronaldo Silva was awaiting his trial for drug trafficking in a Brazilian prison when his wife came to see him during a scheduled visit. Silva had managed to sneak past the prison guards dressed in his wifes clothing while wearing a wig, makeup, and fake press on nails. He even went as far as shaving his arms and legs. He ended up being recaptured at a nearby bus stop by a guard who noticed Silva struggling in heels. Sashay away.\r

Its been reported that at least two-thirds of prisoners will end up incarcerated once again within three years of their release and three-quarters will be back behind bars within five years. Its common for criminals to be repeat offenders and wind up in the system all over again. Take this dimwitted guy for example. Andrew Wilson was arrested for theft, burglary, and consuming and being in possession of a controlled substance. He served 19 of his 20 days in jail and decided to break out a day before his scheduled release. He was recaptured and given additional charges of theft and escape.
