Thanks to the honeymooners.I have mastered the perfectly traditional GREEK SALAD that is now a family favorite!! This healthy delicious GREEK SALAD, also know as HORIATIKI SALATA.is loaded with ripe tomatoes, cubes of cucumber, soaked slices of red onions, plump juicy kalamata olives, feta cheese, fresh lemon juice, drizzles of olive oil, and seasoned with oregano & pepper. Traditional GREEK SALAD\r

1 large cucumber, seeded & cubed\r
4 large roma tomatoes, cubed\r
1 medium red onion, sliced thinly, soaked in ice water for 10 minutes, and drained (this makes the onion sweet)\r
1/4-1/2 cup Fresh Italian Parsley, roughly chopped \r
1 cup (4 oz) Feta Cheese\r
1/4 cup Kalamata Olives, leave whole or half\r
1/4 cup olive oil\r
1 Fresh Lemon Juice\r
1 teaspoon oregano \r
1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper\r

1. Add prepared tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, Italian parsley, kalamata olives, feta cheese into a large bowl. Drizzle olive oil, fresh lemon juice, oregano, and pepper over fresh vegetables and toss. Serve immediately & ENJOY!! -Deronda :)\r
