Storm Alberto's Eye Passes Over Panama City Beach

Subtropical Storm Alberto made landfall near Laguna Beach, Florida, on Monday, May 28. The storm carried with it maximum sustained winds of 45 miles per hour, and gusts around 50 miles per hour had been reported.

Heavy rain, flash flooding and possible tornadoes were expected with the storm along the Florida panhandle.
