Russian dancer Pavel Dmitrichenko was sentenced to six years in prison on 3 December 2013 for his role in the acid attack against the artistic director of the Bolshoi ballet. According to reports, Sergei Filin was attacked in front of his house in Moscow's Troitskaya Street on January 17.
