Two Singaporeans, including a scuba diving instructor, drowned while scuba diving in Tioman Island, a small island located 32 km off the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia on September 7.
Local media reports that the accident took place at around noon when a newlywed couple was practising diving skills with an instructor. The three of them were scuba diving about 25 meters from the beach.
