A group of fishermen caught a giant oarfish off the coast of Vietnam on May 22.
In the video, three fishermen are seen trying to hold the oarfish, which was about 3.9 meters long (12.79 feet). A fourth fisherman runs up to join them in order to completely hold the oarfish up.
This is the first time these fishermen have caught an oarfish. It may have accidentally entered one of their nets.
The oarfish is “rarely seen because it lives at considerable depths,” according to National Geographic.
