On Wednesday, May 23, Strike Force Raptor and riot squad officers charged three men in Sydney’s south west following raids of several properties associated with wedding and escort driver businesses.
Five properties in Auburn, Granville and South Granville were searched. Police seized false and expired registration plates, more than $13,000 cash, knuckle dusters, a throwing star, steroids and mobile phones.
Three men, aged 20, 23, 24 were charged with more than 60 offences, including reckless driving and failing to stop for police, The Daily Telegraph reoprted.
Strike Force Raptor’s detective chief inspector Darren Beeche said Operation Trauma is targeting anti-social driving behaviour, illegally modified vehicles and registration compliance. He said a great deal of their investigations are originate from videos posted online of reckless driving.
The arrests were made as part of an ongoing operation targeting dangerous and reckless driving in the area. The men were granted strict conditional bail and will appear at Parramatta Local Court on May 30. Credit: NSW Police Force via Storyful
