Efforts by firemen were not enough to save a two-story wooden house in Darbeau, St. George’s today.
Officials say they responded to distress calls just after midday of a fire on Coco Road.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze, but the 14x14 structure has been consumed.
One man is said to have been injured during the incident.
