More than 100 people were killed in a plane crash in Cuba on May 18. The Boeing 737 crashed soon after taking off from Havana airport in what is being called as the island nation's worst air disaster in nearly 30 years. There were only three survivors, according to officials and state media. There were 110 people on board including 105 passengers. Flight CU972 was bound for Holguin in eastern Cuba when it crashed at 12:08 pm, local time. Authorities are identifying bodies and investigating the cause of the crash.
