Firefighters managed to bring a 5-alarm blaze that gutted a warehouse on May 18 in north Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, under control.

Strong winds had caused the flames from the defunct industrial building on 21st and Lippincott Ave to spread to neighboring structures, but was brought under control around 9 pm, NBC 10 reported. Black smoke could be seen rising from the site from miles away.

Footage taken by a news chopper shows part of the building collapsing onto the street below, sending sparks and debris flying into the air as it struck a power line.
