Police wrestled a man to the ground in Tbilisi, Georgia, on May 17 after he was seen attacking an LGBT activist speaking at a rally marking International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia.

The incident, seen in this video, was one of a number of violent incidents reported by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty at events in the city after a larger rally was cancelled for fear of confrontation with far-right and religious activists. Credit: Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty via Storyful
