Drone Footage Captures Flooding in Missoula

Aerial footage captured the scale of the flooding in the Orchard Homes area of Missoula, Montana on May 8.

Mandatory evacuations notices were issued for residents in the Orchard Homes area by the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office due to high water levels, according to local reports. Around 2,000 homes in Missoula were at risk of flooding, around 800 of those houses are located in Orchard Homes.

Missoula received almost record rainfall last week with the Clark Fork River cresting at 13.82 feet, the second-highest on record, as of Friday evening, according to reports.
