This orchestra was directed by Hazay Natzy, about whom I could hardly find any information. Apparently of Hungarian origin, at some point in his career he led an outfit called 'Hungarian Band' in the NY area, and also was the musical director of the Biltmore Hotel in New York. He made his first recordings as early as 1917 for Pathé and would profusely record till 1925 for almost all major labels. However, I could retrieve no biographical data at all. This excellent record was made in 1923. The lovely vocal is by Lewis James.
