A local resident in Leilani Estates filmed the aftermath of Mount Kilauea eruption.
The footage, captured yesterday (May 10), shows a main road covered by still smouldering black lava as fissures extend in the ground.
The filmer writes: ‘’I decided to go out this afternoon to get to a place inside Leilani Estates I have been unable to access due to the wind direction.
‘’What I found was amazing.
‘'Just this morning I was standing on the other side of the road.’’
