The high decibel campaigning in poll-bound Karnataka came to an end on May 10. Both the ruling Congress and the BJP took attacked each other as they held press conferences and held road shows. From Dalit rights, religion to patriotism, nothing was left out. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the SC, ST, OBC and Slum Morcha workers of state BJP via his app. He said the BJP was at the forefront of the political parties which are moving forward with the message of social equality. He added that the party had the maximum number of MPs belonging to SC/ST and OBC communities. Addressing media in Bengaluru, Congress president Rahul Gandhi accused PM Modi of ignoring atrocities on Dalits. He also took on the BJP on the issue of his mother, Sonia Gandhi's, Italian origin. The state votes on May 12 and the results will be declared on May 15.
