A woman hospitalised in Memphis, Tennessee, got her dying wish granted when she was able to witness her son graduate from high school in a special ceremony at the hospital.
Julie Northcott shared a Facebook Live on May 4 of Stephanie Northcott watching her son, Dalton Jackson, graduate from her hospital bed, surrounded by friends and family.
The ceremony took place in Baptist Memorial Hospital East two weeks before the official Halls High School graduation ceremony and Jackson was handed his graduation certificate by school principal Suzanne Keefe, who was visibly emotional during the ceremony. Jackson and Northcott shared a special dance together as well to help celebrate the day. The family is asking for donations to fund Northcott’s funeral expenses at the Bank of Ripley in Ripley, Tennessee. Credit: Julie Northcott via Storyful
