Melbourne Victory are the Hyundai A-League champions for 2017/2018! After taking a lead into the half time break, the Victory, with an outstanding defensive effort in the second 45 minutes, were able to completely shut down the Jets' attack which had looked so dangerous in the first half. An historic night in Newcastle with the Victory clinching their 4th championship, more than any other club, and in so doing become the first team to win the decider from fourth position on the table.
